Bio: In September 2007 I put roller skates on my feet for the first time since I was a kid, and started skating with the London Rollergirls. I have a hunger to learn new stuff, even if this means looking like a total moron for the majority of the time whilst I'm trying to work out how to do it, and this hunger to constantly achieve new goals has become pretty addictive.

I have been lucky enough to Captain London Brawling through many of their milestone events. Starting with Roll Britannia- the first ever European Roller Derby Tournament where we took first place, to becoming a WFTDA apprentice league - the first outside of North America, which lead to our East Coast Tour. Sitting on that plane to Philadelphia with my teammates was a pivotal moment for me. It's when I realised that Roller Derby could take me far and give me experiences that I would cherish forever. I then had the honour of Captaining us to the WFTDA Eastern Region Playoffs in 2011, where we entered as the 10th seed and left as the 5th. There was also the first ever Roller Derby World Cup, where I received MVP for Team England - the bronze medal team. So many passionate skaters from all over the world were under one roof making history in our sport, and I was lucky enough to be a part of it. I can't wait to see what history we can make next.
