Why I choose to skate Riedell:
Ever since I began skating, I have always skated on Riedell skates. I have always been fascinated by how they make their skates. They have been very reliable. It has been a dream of mine to represent them!
If you were stranded on island that luckily had a skating rink, other than your Riedell skates, what is one item that you would want to have with you?
About 3 extra shirts because I usually change them when I skate. I sweat a lot!
What motivates you to be the best skater you can be?
The kids and future generations. I always try to set the best example and show them the sky is the limit. I’ve also always tried to test the boundaries of how much better I can get.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When I’m practicing with earbuds in and people skate and try to talk to me.
Which 3 individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?
Martin Luther King Jr, Chris Brown, and Barack Obama
If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
"Overcoming Defeat" - Throughout my life I have had to face tough situations which have tested my strength and will. I’ve worked hard to get to this point, and I want to inspire!
At practice, what is one skating maneuver you are currently working on to get better at?
Control. I have recently transitioned into a different style and I’m focusing on controlling my movements and skating smoother.
