Why I choose to skate Riedell:
Riedell makes the most beautiful skates and they have the best customer service in the business. I know that their boots and gear are made with care and meant to last.
If you were stranded on island that luckily had a skating rink, other than your Riedell skates, what is one item that you would want to have with you?
What motivates you to be the best skater you can be?
I don't have hobbies; I have obsessions. I'm a recovering perfectionist with unreasonably high expectations for myself. I love the feeling of giving everything I have to an endeavor -- that feeling after you've done everything you could and put yourself all of the way out there.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I really, really hate being late.
Which 3 individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?
Herb Brooks, Gertrude Stein, and Lizzo
If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
"Look Busy" - I learned a long time ago that if you want to stay out of trouble, never let anyone catch you doing nothing.
At practice, what is one skating maneuver you are currently working on to get better at?
I'm always trying to improve my overall understanding of where my feet are at any point in time. It's a lifelong quest.
