Becasue I deserve to skate in the best. Riedell is a family busines with a global reach. They are passionate about supporting growth of roller derby worldwide, so I am thrilled to be associated with that legacy.

If you were stranded on island that luckily had a skating rink, other than your Riedell skates, what is one item that you would want to have with you?
A blender so I could make frozen pina coladas, duh!

What motivates you to be the best skater you can be?
Winning. I have a burning desire to win that has always been inside me and it applies to many areas of mylife. Board games - watch out, burpring competition - I'll take you, team bonding exercise - Let's GO! I like to be the best, I like to work hard and nothing feels better than the fruits of your own labor.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
People that think wearing pajamas on flights is acceptable attire.

Which 3 individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?
  1. My grandfather, John Lyon, who died before I was born.
  2. Toni Morrison - I'd love to have the pleasure of hearing her incredible words in person.
  3. Ruther Bader Ginsberg - Because duh RBG! RBG! RBG!
If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
"I'm Just Here For a Good Time - A Life of Pleasure" - My life is incredibly wonderful. I am surrounded by so many people I adore, I have many nourishing relationships with friends and partners, I dance regularly, I laugh every day, I am loved and supported by my family. It's a very fantastic existence so I'd want the title of my life to reflect that privilege.

At practice, what is one skating maneuver you are currently working on to get better at?
Not being in charge. Also I'd like to be able to do 180 apex jumps.
